My Training Program can benefit recreational athletes in all sports including basketball, football, soccer, tennis, golf, and swimming to name a few. If you play a sport not listed here, don’t worry. These workouts may benefit you also. You can also review my Exercise page for a list of recommended exercises .

Now is the best time to implement a training routine. These workouts can help you increase stamina, strength, speed, flexibility, agility (range of motion), and focus. They can also help you target specific muscle groups to improve your performance. Check out the Exercise page to learn more.

You know your body better than anyone else; but I always recommend starting at the Beginner stage if you have no prior kettlebell experience. You can also review our Exercise page for specific exercise recommendations for your sport.
If you have some experience using kettlebells but aren’t quite confident yet the Intermediate stage may be a better fit. I suggest reviewing our videos and giving it a try. You can always go back to Beginner until you feel more comfortable .

For beginners 10 to 20 lbs for women and 25 to 35 lbs for men is recommended; but try not to use less than 10 lbs because you will likely not see any benefit. You should start with a weight that gives you a little challenge but isn’t too heavy because you want to learn proper form.

Obtaining proper form takes practice but is achievable. I would suggest starting with our Beginner videos so you can see how to properly hold the kettlebell. I also have demonstration videos on the Exercise page that link to my YouTube channel THE REC ATHLETE.

This depends on the individual; but I recommend 3 to 5 times per week to see results.

I use Kettlebell Kings typically; but I also recommend Rogue and Titan.
